Join us for a presentation by award-winning photographer and Photo Forum member Jim Hafft. Switching from film to digital in 2003, Hafft has embraced the artistic world of photography offered by the computer and software. He has exhibited in seven solo and group shows in Walnut Creek, Orinda, and San Ramon. In 2009, his photo of Castello di Amorosa Winery in Calistoga was judged as one of the top 20 out of 1500 submitted to the Festival Oenovideo and Photography contest in Chaintre, France. The photo was published in their official magazine, framed and exhibited throughout France at various wineries. He has sold a number of his photographs at Wine and Art Festivals. Currently, Jim concentrates his talents making photo books and lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, Christine, and Granddaughter, Adelina. His presentation “The Joy of Making Photo Books”, will cover Why Make Photo Books, tips on making photo books with examples of books he has made.
