The Walnut Creek Skate Park
Located at the corner of Heather Drive and Marchbanks Drive in Heather Farm Park, the Skate Park is across from the Clarke Swim Center. Admission is free and hours of operation are 8am to 9pm. The City requires that all skaters must wear a helmet and knee AND elbow pads to use the park. Among its unique features are elements for street skaters and vertical skaters, with rails, spines and bowls. The skating area consists of features such as a square bowl, raised “peanut,” “volcano,” “crater,” and “roller” elements. The skating course also includes “street” elements such as rails, steps, and ledges.
