Sand Volleyball Court Rentals
Sand volleyball courts are located at Heather Farm Park, Northgate Park, and Larkey Park. Each location has two sand volleyball courts that are side-by-side. The volleyball nets are affixed to the poles. You'll need to supply your own crank (all nets are adjustable) and volleyball.

Reserving a Court

There are two ways to reserve your sand volleyball court between 9am-4pm on Monday-Friday:

*Courts at Northgate Park are available year-round for reservations outside of Northgate High School hours.
On the Day of Your Court Rental
- On your reservation date, bring your copy of the Rental Permit to your court for proof of reservation.
- If you encounter any problems, call the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 935-6400.
- The Recreation Division will not have personnel on duty to enforce your permit.
- Please reference the Picnic Rental Information Sheet for park rules and regulations.
- After your event, clear and clean courts of trash and personal items, placing all trash into the trash bins provided.
- Please exit the courts within 15 minutes of your rental end time if another group is waiting to play.
There is a reservation fee to reserve a court and secure a permit at Heather Farm and Northgate Park.
Each court is $30/hour with a 1-hour minimum and a 4-hour maximum rental time.
Permits are available 6 months to 120 days in advance of your event (depending on the court) and must be obtained at least 5 days in advance.
Full payment is due at the time of booking.
There are no refunds for no shows or for cancellations less than thirty (30) days in advance of your event.
There is a $25 service fee for date cancellations or changes made more than thirty (30) days prior to your event. Refunds of any remaining balance may take up to three weeks to process.
If the facility is not used due to rain on the day of your reservation, a credit that is valid for one year (no refunds) will be issued upon request. You must make your credit request within one week of the event date.
Rental permits are not transferable.
