Regional Center of the East Bay

Participants may register for a course that is funded by RCEB via the City of Walnut Creek’s online booking platform. Courses will include “RCEB” in the title to indicate that is eligible to be funded through the Regional Center.

For example; Specialized Recreation Summer Day Camp Week 1 – RCEB. This registration option has a $0 associated fee and includes requirements regarding obtaining a Purchase of Service (POS) from the participant’s case manager.

Participants are solely responsible for requesting a POS from their case manager and will not be eligible to participate without one.

Participants can request a POS by emailing their case manager. The request should include the course ID, course name, course dates, cost of the course, and our vendor number. The course description will include which vendor code to use.

For year-round courses, the vendor code is PB3437.

For summer camps, the vendor course is HB1122.

No. A valid POS reflecting the accurate course dates and price must be issued and received by the City of Walnut Creek prior to participation.

Issuing a POS but failing to show up for a registered course is considered a no-show. Not showing up to a RCEB funded course will result in your account being flagged.  A flagged account will inhibit registration for future RCEB funded courses.
