CERT city-wide refresher meeting (2nd Monday of even numbered months)

We meet together to refresh our CERT skills and for interesting presentations

Location:  Walnut Creek City Council Chamber at City Hall - 1666 North Main Street

TIME: Training class starts promptly at 7pm; arrive by 6:45PM to allow time to sign in before training begins at 7pm. 

TOPIC:  Gas & electrical safety presentation by Les Putnam, PG&E Sr.Public Safety Specialist (and retired from Berkeley FD).

Training is indoors & open to the public. Free parking available in the Civic Park parking lot.

Les has added Public Safety Power Shutdowns to his presentation that will be slides plus show-and-tell. He is a great speaker who keeps it interesting while delivering very useful safety information.


Refresh your knowledge and stay safe during disaster response.

 

This training activity qualifies for DSW registration & CERT membership renewals for 2 years.

This event is open to the public; bring your family and friends. It is also a CERT training that qualifies to renew your Disaster Service Worker (DSW) registration for two more years. Be sure to sign in to get credit for the training.


Our bi-monthly CERT refresher trainings are the 2nd Monday of even numbered months, except December, at Walnut Creek City Council Chamber at City Hall, unless otherwise noted.

The next refresher will be on February 10, 2020.
