This summer, in conjunction with our upcoming exhibition BLOW UP II—a joyful exploration of larger-than-life inflatable artwork—Bedford Gallery is thrilled to offer an extremely unique and exciting day-long Inflatable Workshop! The workshop will be led by arts educator Carrie Ziser, who will teach participants every step of making their very own blow up sculpture. Students will learn about sculpture, installation, and site-specific art with fun, yet challenging, materials. Working in groups or individually, participants will plan, design, and sketch out ideas to create large inflatable sculptures. All workshop attendees will be able to take their professional blow up home!

Students are welcome to stop by the gallery to see BLOW UP II as an introduction to contemporary sculptors working in this medium during their lunch break or after the workshop as part of their participation fee.

Details:

- Non-refundable fee: $85 for adults, $75 for youth.
-This workshop is for participants 12 and older.
-Base materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring along their workshop toolkit and a lunch.
