Day Date for Parents - Kids Only Animal Show & Activities

Need some time off during the weekend to recharge or grab lunch with adult friends? Sign up your child to have a fun and engaging time with Rec staff! Children will watch a Furs, Scales & Tail animal show which features 16 different animals. This 40-minute show is entertaining, educational, fun AND funny. Animals range from the cute and cuddly baby chicks and rabbits to creepers and crawlies like tarantulas and reptiles. After the show participants will enjoy petting the animals. Animal-themed crafts activities will happen for an hour after the show and then participants will picnic in the park together and play supervised on the playground. Bring a sack lunch.
