Oakland, famous for its stunning bay views, parklands, open spaces, great weather, and proximity to the Pacific Ocean make it one of the most beautiful urban areas in the nation. On your guided tour of Oakland, you will visit many of the famous places that define Oakland. View the “Remember Them” champions for humanity bronze sculpture / explore Downtown, showcasing the Fox Theatre, Tribune Tower and City Hall / visit Preservation Park Walk (like a walk into the past and a Hollywood set)/ drive by Pardee Home / view Oakland’s largest mural, called Zero Hunger, stands 190 feet tall at the Marriott Hotel/ explore Adams Point/Garden Fairyland, Lakeside Garden Center and Bonzai Garden /Scottish Rite Center (1927 Old Boat House/gondolas/visit Rooftop Park/Jack London Square and more. Midway, you will stop for a delicious hosted lunch at the Lake Chalet Restaurant at Lake Merritt.
