  • Introduction: Meet at Bedford Gallery to enjoy a Docent-led private tour of — Cultural Currency: Contemporary Art from the Riemer Collection.

Meet at Bedford Gallery to enjoy a volunteer Docent-led private tour of the current exhibition on display: Cultural Currency: Contemporary Art from the Riemer Collection. The group of artwork displays the innovative ways artists use money as a medium to expand its worth beyond a predetermined denomination. Each artist in the exhibition investigates preconceived definitions of monetary value, meticulously repurposing bills and coins into exquisite, precise artworks. After the approximate hour-long tour, walk over to Katy's Creek to enjoy a delicious brunch and lively discussion about the artwork with fellow participants.

Cost of registration includes the Bedford tour, main dish, nonalcoholic beverage and gratuity. If you need transportation to the Bedford, please contact our Transportation Coordinator at cpcc@walnut-creek.org.
