CHP’S “Age Well/Drive Smart” – for licensed drivers from 20 years to 120 years to stay driving longer and safer.
Free, inter-active, entertaining program presents:
- Tips to understand driving safety
- Important and new traffic laws
- Bicycle and pedestrian safety
- Distracted driving information
- Inexpensive care safety accessories
- Resources
- A discussion on road rage
- DUI, new technology, and much more!
Some of the information provided:
- How to develop a ‘plan’ before you stop driving
- Transportation Cost Sheet show how to calculate current vehicle operating costs
- Illustrating available public transportation if and when needed
- The opportunity to speak with and listen to a California Highway Patrol officer in person.
At the end of the program, licensed attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance!
