Performing for over 12 years, Aca-word is an award-winning a cappella group based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The group has taken the stage at major a cappella festivals such as the A Cappella Open, SheSings and Harmony Sweepstakes Festival — where they claimed Best Original Arrangement (for “Let It Go” by James Bay) in 2016. In addition, Aca-word has performed at county fairs, holiday festivals, farmers’ markets and other local events throughout the Bay Area.
In 2021, the group released their debut single, a cover of Dua Lipa’s “Break My Heart”, followed by their debut EP titled Play It Cool. In 2022, Aca-word opened for the world-renowned vocal group The Filharmonic (NBC’s The Sing-Off) at the Bend A Cappella Festival.
Aca-word provides a fresh and entertaining family-friendly show of exclusively a cappella music. Come ready to dance and sing to pop hits and classic rock favorites!
