Acalanes Ridge Hike

Put on your hiking boots and grab some water, a snack and a hat. It's time to join Ranger Art Janke on a guided hike into incredible Acalanes Open Space. Yes, this month Ranger Art is hiking Acalanes. Acalanes is noted for the hidden riparian woodlands of Putnum Creek and the incredible 360 degree views from the top of Acalanes Ridge. From Acalanes you see the Carquinez Straits, Mount Diablo and down the valley to Alamo. This is a great introduction to a seldom used Open Space area.
