The Community Arts Photography Forum is pleased to present Pete Caldwell "Climbing Mt Kenya and Kilimanjaro."
Pete Caldwell is a Walnut Creek native, runs a health-care non-profit when he’s not taking pictures, and is a new member of the Photography Forum. In this presentation, Pete will show images from his trip earlier this year that included climbing the two tallest mountains in Africa; Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro. With summits at 17k and 19k feet respectively, these peaks provide spectacular scenery – as well as sub-freezing weather and other photography challenges unique to high-altitude climbs.
